EncycloSphere Editor
~~NOCACHE~~

This is an editor for creation of encyclopedic articles. Please use this form to add a title of your new article:

<box 50% round #f5f7f9 #f5f7f9 |Article submission form>

</box>
\\

A newly created articles will be staged for 90 days in the Encyclosphere namespace (see the left menu called "Staged articles"). During this time one can download this article as a WIK file (see the button "DOWNLOAD WIK FILE").
This file can be shared between different encyclopedias, or placed on your computer similar to other document files.

The WIK files can be also uploaded to this editor for corrections at any time. In future, it would be possible to submit WIK articles to different wiki encyclopedias (with full revisions and media), edit on your computer offline and submit it to the Encyclosphere network (if it will be accepted as the standard format for Encyclosphere).

The downloaded WIK file contains the wikitext article, previous revisions, metadata, embedded media and ready-to-use HTML and XHTML. See WIK files description.

Here is an example article about Encyclosphere. Edit it and then save it as "encyclosphere.wik" file using “DOWNLOAD WIK FILE". Then you can unzip it, and study it. You may also view "article.html" in the browser. You can also include the article body "article.xhtml" to web pages.

This editor can also convert the WIK articles to PDF, ODT (LibreOffice/OpenOffice) or LaTeX formats (the latter two formats are partially supported).

See Help topics.
